Turkana Tribe:
There are 600,000 Turkana in the 3 Turkana Districts but over a million spread throughout Kenya.
The religion of the tribe is animistic, resulting in slavery to witchcraft but the Turkana are thirsty for the eternally quenching Truth of the gospel.
Most Turkana houses are made by the women who weave natural materials together in a similar manner to weaving a basket.
The people’s diet is mainly blood and milk which they harvest from their livestock.
